PATIALA HOUSE is very unique and original, and is probably the best Indian sports movie that I’ve seen set in contemporary times…

Rajneeti is a political thriller from Bollywood that falls a little flat, but still enjoyable.
This is a ‘review’ I wrote years ago on RUNNING SCARED… and it seems I was easily impressed in those days… such is youth.
It seems Shahrukh Khan’s latest Sci-Fi film, RA.ONE… is basically an Indianized version of TRON LEGACY. You gotta give it to ’em… they’re quick.
Once on a while comes a film that tends to break free of patterns established in conventional storytelling prior to it. Such a film comes in the form of Aamir Khan produced and Kiran Rao (his wife) directed DHOBI GHAT.
Ram Gopal Varma’s direct tribute to the man himself, Francis Ford Coppola, came with his Indianized version of THE GODFATHER, in the form of SARKAR.

Salt is an action movie by Angelina Jolie that is engaging and interesting as hell to watch, without thinking about it too much.
